James Bouthillier BIOGRAPHY James was born in 1977 in Point Claire, Quebec, and grew up in the rural town of Île Perrot. When his parents moved to Ottawa in 1994 he attended the fine arts program at Canterbury High School and earned his Fine Arts Certificate when he graduated in 1997. He continued on to the Illustration & Design Program at Dawson College. James has been freelancing as an illustrator and designer for four years with various design studios as well as working in design for the home fashion industry. James enrolled in the Fine Arts program at Concordia University in 2004 and is presently completing his second year of studies. Recently he has been producing a large body of drawings and oil paintings for his Urban Scrawls series. www.jamesbouthillier.com
